Not So Much Like the Picture

Tonight I made the same meal I wrote about earlier. It didn't work out so well. I did the same thing, it just decided to burn this time. We ended up going to our neighbor's for dinner since this was completely inedible.

For those that wanted to recipe, here it is. Hopefully you will have better luck!

Ingredients -
4 portion chicken breasts
1/4 cup teriyaki marinade
4 portion size potatoes
1 lb. snow peas, trimmed
1 tsp. powdered wasabi
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup fat free sour cream

Directions -
Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes. Place peeled potatoes in a large sauce pan and cover with water. Boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove chicken from marinade, place in a broiler pan. Broil 6 inches from heat source for about 15 minutes. Steam snowpeas for about 3 minutes. Drain and mash potatoes with wasabi and black pepper. Add skim milk and sour cream, continue to mash until light and fluffy. Serve and enjoy!

So, not only did you not get to eat this dinner, it looks as though cleaning the dish was an adventure!

One time I made a huge pot of soup and decided to bring it to full heat in the crock pot container on the top of the stove - not a good idea. The crock pot broke and the entire kettle of soup went through the stove top down to the cupboard below. What a mess.

Glad your neighbor invited you over.
