March 31, 1915 - September 9, 2007

Today Pappy went to be with Jesus. He was surrounded by his wife and daughter when he passed into glory. My Mom recited the 23rd Psalm during his last moments and then they said good-bye. He was a wonderful man. He will be missed.

We love you Pappy!

So sorry to hear of your loss. From the looks of things, he seems to have been a very fun man. His pictures depict a contagious laugh - I would've loved to have heard it. Reminds me of my grandpa who passed on ten years ago. May God's grace get you through these tough times.

From all that you have told me and seen here I wish I could've known him. Like Courtney, I'd like to hear his laugh as well. I am sure his laughter is being enjoyed by the saints above.
I am thinking of you and your family and asking that the God of all comfort be with you at this time and that He would make His presence known.

I'm so sorry he is gone. He will leave a real hole. I'm so glad you shared these photos with us - he looks like he had a TON of personality!!!! Wow. What a fun Pappy. What a great blessing that your mom was able to be with him the moment that he met Jesus. So neat.
